Your clients ask you questions you answer from memory.
Can I hire. From what revenue does this year hold. What happens if I lose that customer. You know the answers; you have neither the time nor the tool to quantify them on every file. StratBoard quantifies them, you validate them, you bill them.
The report you sign stays yours
What you sign engages your responsibility. You keep control of everything.
The rate card, and the margin you keep
You bill closings, VAT, payroll. Those are time-based revenues, capped by your hours. Financial steering is the only service you can sell to your existing clients without selling one more hour.
| Clients | Discount | You pay |
|---|---|---|
| 10 – 24 | 30 % | CHF 104.30 |
| 25 – 49 | 35 % | CHF 96.85 |
| 50 + | 40 % | CHF 89.40 |
Price per client per month, excluding VAT. Your tier's rate applies to every client you carry, not only to those above the threshold. The public price is CHF 149.-: you buy at a discount and set your own resale price without exceeding it. Resold at the public price, one client leaves you CHF 44.70 to CHF 59.60 per month — that is your ceiling, not your revenue. What you keep of it also depends on the time you spend reviewing, which is why the engine flags what moved rather than making you read everything. Below ten clients, the indirect channel does not open.
8 requirements of an accounting firm, and our answers
- My clients' data must stay in Switzerland.
- Database in Zurich, on Swiss infrastructure. Computation runs in Frankfurt, in the European Union, and the data passes through it for the duration of processing before returning to Zurich.
- No crossing between my clients.
- Strict separation per company, enforced at database level, not at display level.
- My data serves nobody else.
- Neither sold, nor transferred, nor used to train a model.
- I control the normalisation parameters.
- Not yet. The rules in use are StratBoard's, the same for every firm; they are visible and frozen with every computation. Firm-level settings will come when they exist.
- Nothing goes out without my approval.
- Mandatory review queue, manual sending, no automatic dispatch.
- The report carries my identity.
- Your logo, your company name, your signature. StratBoard does not appear.
- I can defend a figure ten years later.
- Frozen parameters, provenance of every value, decomposition tree down to the accounting line.
- I can leave with my data.
- Full export of all your clients, at any time during the contract, and for thirty days after it ends.
What the report does not do in your place
A report that demands a long review costs more than it earns, whatever its purchase price. The entire design of the product hangs on that constraint. That is why the engine flags for itself what deserves your attention: unusual variances, items that contradict the previous year, lines the restatement has moved. You review what moves, not what stays still.
We quote no review duration: none has been timed in a real firm. The figure will come when the measurement exists.
Questions of responsibility for accounting firms
- Who answers for what the report tells my client?
- You do. The report carries your branding, it leaves your firm, and it is your signature your client reads. That is exactly what the review queue is for: no report leaves the portfolio without one of your staff having opened and approved it. The computation is deterministic and its breakdown visible line by line, so the review rests on figures that can be checked rather than on text that must be believed.
- What do you guarantee the firm, and what do you not?
- We guarantee that the computation is reproducible — same accounts, same output —, that its breakdown is visible, and that an indicator whose input is missing is declared unavailable with the data that would open it, never estimated. We guarantee neither the accuracy of the accounts you submit, nor the judgement passed on the figures, nor the compliance of your own work. The product reads what it is given and shows how it read it.
- What becomes of my clients' data if I leave?
- It stays theirs. The database is hosted in Zurich, application processing in Europe, and each company is partitioned by the database's access policies. At the end of a firm subscription, engagements and their financial years can be exported in the format submitted, and deleted on request, subject to the retention obligations that fall on you. Nothing is passed to a third party or used for another firm.
Start by challenging our figures.
Open a portfolio, load a file you know inside out, and check line by line what the engine draws from it. For someone in your trade, that is the only demonstration that counts.
